Our client are a well-established dental lab located in Central London, seeking a highly motivated and skilled Senior Dental Technician to join their team. In this role, you will play a vital part in their commitment to providing high-quality dental restorations to their patients, utilizing both traditional and advanced digital techniques.

Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate a wide range of dental appliances, including crowns, bridges, dentures, implants, orthodontics (braces and retainers), and other restorative dentistry devices, according to dentists' prescriptions and specifications, using both digital and analogue techniques.
  • Utilize CAD/CAM software, specifically Exocad, to design and manufacture dental restorations.
  • Perform implant guided surgery planning using Exoplan and Codiagnostix.
  • Interpret dentists' instructions and translate them into precise, functional, and aesthetically pleasing dental restorations.
  • Utilize a variety of techniques and materials, such as metal, porcelain, acrylic, and various impression materials, to create accurate and durable dental prosthetics.
  • Operate and maintain various laboratory equipment, including casting machines, milling machines, and polishing tools.
  • Ensure the quality and accuracy of all dental restorations through meticulous attention to detail and strict adherence to quality control procedures.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to all safety protocols.
  • May assist with training less experienced technicians.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Technician in a laboratory setting.
  • Proven ability to fabricate a wide range of dental appliances to a high standard, using both digital and analogue techniques.
  • Strong understanding of dental anatomy, materials, and fabrication techniques.
  • Experience in using CAD/CAM software, specifically Exocad.
  • Knowledge of implant planning and software like Exoplan and Codiagnostix.
  • Excellent manual dexterity and hand-eye coordination.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and prioritize workload effectively.
