Your Purpose

As our Department ManagerNHS Administration, you'll be a pivotal part of our Customer Support Services team based in Fareham. Reporting directly to the Head of Customer Support Services, your role will involve leading and inspiring a team to ensure the smooth operation of our NHS Administration Team.

Your responsibilities will span from staff management and engagement to nurturing the next generation of managers within our organization. With your expertise in NHS processes and procedures, you'll collaborate with external stakeholders to fulfill our clinical and contractual obligations, contributing significantly to patient care and client satisfaction.

Your Role Within Our Team

You'll play an active role in management team projects, sharing your insights to guide contributions to the business. Prioritizing work to meet deadlines and maintain Service Level Agreements (SLA), you'll ensure all processes are followed meticulously while fostering a positive and productive working environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Team Management: Oversee all NHS admin processes, ensuring deadlines and targets are met while maintaining high standards of call quality and admin accuracy. Provide consistent and fair management, supporting team performance and development through feedback and coaching.
  • Operational Excellence: Develop strong relationships with stakeholders, support contract mobilizations, and maintain control measures to ensure quality and consistency. Proactively identify and address risks to service delivery.
  • Culture and People: Lead by example in championing great people management and supporting company-wide goals. Monitor team morale and performance, driving improvement initiatives and upholding our company values in all aspects of our work.
