Depot Foreman

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Depot Foreman to work for a large national company that supply generators. They work with a range of industries from construction through to festivals and schools. Basically anyone needing temporary power needs.
The main parts of the role include:
Company – Leading Supplier of Power Generators
Job Title – Depot Foreman
Location – Wakefield
Salary Package – £38k + overtime

• Oversee all engineering & depot yard staff.
• Ensure all equipment is prepared to company standards.
• Liaise with customers when required to resolve any breakdowns or ascertain faults.
• Manage engineers’ workload daily.
• Maintain accurate records of stock levels and resources.
• Completing audits in line with company policy.
• Driving a health and safety compliance culture in line with company policy and processes.
• Conduct regular reviews to monitor team performance.
• This is a hands on role, you must be prepared to support the team when required.

REQUIREMENTS

• Foreman experience, ideally in the equipment hire industry.
• Strong people management skills and experience.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Forklift licence (desirable).
• Generator experience would be desirable but not essential.
