Depot Manager – Kitchen and Bathroom Sales

Salary: £38,000 base salary + Potential OTE up to: £20,000 based on turnover

Role Overview: As a Depot Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of our kitchen operations at our Seaford location. You will lead a team to drive sales, manage inventory, and ensure the highest standards of customer satisfaction. This role requires a dynamic individual with strong leadership skills, a passion for sales, and a commitment to delivering excellence.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Leadership: Drive sales growth by developing and implementing effective sales strategies, setting sales targets, and motivating the sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Team Management: Lead, mentor, and coach a team of sales professionals, providing guidance and support to maximize their potential and performance.
- Customer Service: Maintain a customer-centric approach, ensuring that all customers receive exceptional service and solutions tailored to their needs.
- Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels, monitor stock movement, and implement measures to optimize stock availability while minimising wastage.
- Operational Efficiency: Streamline depot operations, identify areas for improvement, and implement efficient processes to enhance productivity and profitability.
- Relationship Building: Cultivate strong relationships with trade professionals, contractors, and suppliers to drive business growth and maintain a competitive edge in the market.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and health and safety standards to create a safe and compliant working environment.
- Reporting: Prepare regular reports on sales performance, inventory levels, and other key metrics, providing insights and recommendations to senior management.
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a sales management role, preferably in the kitchen and bathroom industry or a related field.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve results.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with customers and stakeholders.
- Sound business acumen and strategic thinking, with a focus on driving sales and profitability.
