This role allows you to blend your expertise in facilities management with your passion for environmental stewardship, making a tangible impact on our operations and the planet. Responsibilities: Oversee and manage the onsite waste team, ensuring compliance with health and safety protocols and environmental standards.Innovate and improve processes, systems, and people management within the waste management domain.Ensure rigorous recording and maintenance of waste removal in line with ISO 14001 and Sodexo standards.Support the development of business strategies to meet evolving client needs in waste management.Lead the team in maintaining a positive safety culture and adhering to Sodexo's safety standards.Manage training, performance, and development of the waste team in alignment with Sodexo's HR policies.Drive operational efficiency and profitability through effective team and resource management.Requirements:Proven experience in waste management within a busy factory or similar environment.Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.Competence in using computer systems for data and operational management.Understanding and experience in managing subcontractors and team operations.Innovative mindset with a focus on improving productivity and waste management performance.Forklift truck license is preferable.Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards.Join us at Sodexo and become a vital part of a team that values your expertise and dedication.
