Joining as deputy to the current incumbent, we are looking for someone who can step up to the role of Financial Controller imminently.

Summary
You will be responsible for maintaining the accounting records and reporting system to fulfil corporate and management requirements relating to financial, management and statutory accounts of the Company, and financial forecasts embodied in the Annual Operating Plan and Mid-Range Projection for the business.
Responsibilities
- Supervising staff activities including maintaining accounting records, preparing financial statements, and compiling financial information for plans and forecasts.
- Organising workload to ensure timely provision of correct information in order of priority.
- Taking action to safeguard company income and assets within assigned responsibility, with approval as necessary.
- Supervising investigations and calculations for various financial aspects, submiting reports, and implementing approved findings.
- Monitoring actual results, identifying deviations from plans or forecasts, and reporting.
- Acting as the lead contact for internal and external auditors, reviews audit findings, and implementing approved recommendations.
Experience and Attributes required
- Degree in Finance / Accountancy
- Professional accounting qualification - ACMA, ACCA or ACA (essential)
- At least 3 years' post qualification
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (essential)
