Your new role

• Production of the monthly management accounts.
• Manage a team of 3 people
• Business Partnering with the MD
• Supporting the budgeting and reforecasting processes.
• Ensure that all of the daily transactional work is completed efficiently.
• Cashflow is effectively managed.
• Income is recognised correctly.
• Analysis of various performance measures (eg service levels, profitability of projects/clients, and cost reduction.
• Ensure sufficient internal controls are in place in terms of authorisation processes to mitigate against the potential for fraud.
• Manage the Finance Team and support the transactions data entry and/or the client billing processes.
• Plan, organise, and execute financial tasks and projects of the organisation.
• Ensure that the debtors are collected on a timely basis.
• Ensure that the purchase ledger is effectively managed.
• Complete financial reports, lead the month-end closing process and conduct monthly financial forecast.
• Develop and implement plans for budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
• Provide financial insight and analysis to drive the business performance of the organisation.
• Manage and monitor metrics, KPI tracking, and reports.
• Submission of VAT returns.
• Submission of HMRC tax returns

What you\'ll need to succeed
You will have experience of working within an SME environment, be hands on yet strategic. You will be either qualified or QBE, have strong communications skills and be motivated by adding value and making a real difference within an innovative business.
