In this role, you will provide strategic direction and leadership across teams responsible for Transaction Monitoring (TM) alert management, Unusual Activity Reports, Fraud, and resulting investigations." You will provide oversight and support to the Regional Head of FCO (UK) (Nominated Officer) who provides approval of Suspicious Activity Reports (SARS) that is completed with the UK authorities.

- Support the Regional Head of FCO in prioritising effective investigations, adherence to sound internal controls, such as standards of conduct, integrity, and ethical behaviour for the FCO
- Responsible for operational oversight of investigation teams and fraud
- Ensuring the function remains fit for purpose, is adequately staffed, and trained
- Ensuring alert management is completed within service level agreements and SARs filed in a timely manner
- Ensuring regular collaboration and feedback loops with stakeholders including Business Line (BL)AFC, AFC Modelling and the 1st Line of Defence (LOD)
- Providing the Regional Head of FCO with periodic and ad-hoc and consolidated reporting
- Experience in either an Anti-Money Laundering (AML)/Counter-Terrorist Financing (CTF) role; legal, law enforcement, compliance, or regulatory background, preferably within the financial services industry
- Sufficient knowledge of TM and case management systems, corporate fraud prevention, detection, and investigations
- Excellent Stakeholder and communication skills
- Knowledge of Wealth, Markets, Trade Finance, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, and Correspondent Banking products would be beneficial
