Your new company
Your new company is a specialist Residential Property portfolio asset manager based in the heart of the West End, with responsibility for a portfolio comprising of c.200,000 leasehold properties across England & Wales, many of which form part of multi-occupancy blocks of apartments. The procurement and administration of the insurance portfolio is managed by the In-House Insurance Team who provide claims support and policy cover advice to both internal and external parties. Due to the growth within their Insurance Management team, a new position as a Deputy Insurance manager / Property Insurance Executive has arisen.
Your new role
Your new job working as a Deputy Insurance manager / Property Insurance Executive, means you work as part of a team Working closely with the Head of Insurance & Insurance Manager where you will lead the way in customer service to resolve complex insurance queries from leaseholders and third parties in respect to policy cover, claims, underwriting and lease obligations. Liaise with internal and external parties including managing agents and leaseholders, ensuring that all leaseholder communications are conducted in-line with the customer service protocols. Build good relationships and manage service provision from insurance suppliers as well as Prepare for and attend monthly meetings to report on Insurance Team activity and attend regular meetings with insurance brokers, claims, leaseholder matters and credit control. This opportunity offers the chance to supervise more junior staff. Experience of claims processing may be needed as and when to coordinate the claims process, liaising with third parties to ensure speedy and equitable resolution.
What you\'ll need to succeed
Your previous experience of handling Residential Property within a Brokers, Insurer or working in house will contribute to your success in securing this role. You will have proven experience of residential Property Insurance, portfolio management and or any claims processes and experience within or a good knowledge of the residential property sector, and property industry generally. An understanding of and commitment to property services and managing landlord and tenant relationships would be beneficial.
