Are you ready to take the next step towards a management career in the charity sector?
Endell Street is a busy and dynamic project in the heart of Covent Garden. It provides accommodation for up to 53 male and female residents, many of whom have complex needs such as alcohol misuse, substance misuse, mental health issues and a history of offending. Endell Street isn’t just about providing a place to stay, our goal is to support people throughout their recovery to maintain healthy and meaningful activities, relationships with others and good physical and mental health.
In the rewarding role of Deputy Manager you will be supporting the day-to-day management of our hostel accommodation; providing a safe and supportive environment to vulnerable homeless men and women in which to build confidence and ‘promote opportunities’ for positive change.
You will also be responsible for the line management of team members; offering motivation and supervision to deliver high quality housing related support with a recovery-focused and person-centred approach.
About you
This role will suit a passionate and committed individual who has experience of coordinating or leading a service delivery team in relevant services; and experience of managing staff and volunteers in a fast paced environment; or the willingness to develop these skills.
If you have the ability to effectively prioritise your own time and workload and come up with practical ideas to improve services; also have excellent communication skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, a staff team and other internal and external stakeholders we encourage you to apply.
We are working hard to create a diverse and fully inclusive culture where everyone feels valued and we welcome applications from all under-represented groups, particularly Global Majority candidates who are underrepresented at this management level.
