Childrens Home Deputy Manager (Learning Disabilities)
Salary: £25,958- £27,175 (£12.80 - £13.40 per hour) Plus, an additional 0.50p per hour when L5 qualified / £30 for each ON CALL duty completedPlus - £70.74 per sleep-in (working approx. 4-8 sleep ins per month, an additional £3,400-£6791pa)

More about the role
You will be part of a management team who leads the team to provide a safe and loving home for children and young people with Learning Disabilities, led and supported by a Registered Manager. The home is regulated and inspected by OFSTED, understanding and implementation of the Childrens Homes Regulations will be an integral part of the role
Leading a team along with other professionals, you will provide the therapeutic care and support needed for each individual child, in line with the Positive Behaviour Support framework. You will act as a positive role model to colleagues and children to meet their everyday living needs, developing trusting relationships that create recovery, growth and lasting change. There are opportunities for progression into Registered Manager roles for those seeking career development, with enhanced management training within your Deputy Role. We also provide a range of specialist training to meet the diverse needs of the young people.
What do you need?
We want people who are naturally caring, flexible and resilient.
A minimum of 2 years’ experience working within an OFSTED regulated Childrens Home, preferably with children with Learning Disabilities and the hold Level 3/4 Diploma in Residential Childcare /NVQ L3 Caring for Children & Young People qualification.
You need to be able to work flexibly in caring for the children. This will include working shifts and sleep-ins. We guarantee a weekend in / weekend off rota pattern
