Key Responsibilities
As the Deputy Manager, you will play a crucial role in assisting the Home Care Manager in the overall operation of our services. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Ensuring the service provided meets the required regulatory standards and company policies
Maintaining effective communication with clients, their families, and other healthcare professionals
Holding and documenting team meetings
Dealing with payroll and invoice queries
Ensuring agreed ways of working and best practice is followed through regular communication and leadership of the care team
Providing hands-on care and support as needed, serving as a role model
Training new office staff
Skills, Knowledge and Expertise
Prior experience within the home care or healthcare sector is essential
Previous experience in a leadership role is desirable
NVQ Level 4 or above in Health and Social Care (or equivalent) is desirable, but not essential
