Deputy Nursery Manager

We are recruiting for a strong, confident and hard working Deputy Nursery Manager to join a nursery in Nottingham. The ideal candidate will have experience in a leadership role in a nursery. This could be as a deputy manager or as a senior nursery pracititioner. They should have strong leadership skills and have an outstanding knowledge of the Early Years Foundation, the statutory framework and development matters. As a Deputy Nursery Manager it is important for the candidate to have strong leadership skills and be able to coach and mentor a team to ensure the setting is providing outstanding care and education in the setting. This role requires you to support the Nursery Manager in the operations of the nursery working together to ensure you are providing the best possible care and education for the children in the setting.

The ideal Nursery Manager candidate will require the following-

- A minimum of level 3 qualification in childcare and education.

- A minimum of GCSE in maths and English or equivalent.

- At least two years experience in a nursery leadership role.

- Extensive safeguarding knowledge.

- Strong leadership and management skills.

- Experience with Ofsted.
