A small private Nursing Home located in a quiet residential area of Newcastle Upon Tyne currently requires an experienced RGN or RMN Nurse Manager to work as Deputy Manager.
This is an exciting opportunity to join an expanding care group and work in a fully CQC compliant home that caters to older adults with elderly and dementia care needs from throughout Newcastle and the surrounding areas.

As RGN/RMN Deputy Nurse Manager, you will coordinate, manage and monitor all aspects of clinical care in the home and will take the lead on care planning and medication management. You will lead the team of Nurses and Carers and will support junior colleagues in their own professional development and career progression in addition to managing staff rotas.
Applicants for this RGN/RMN Deputy Nurse Manager position should meet the following criteria:
- Qualified Adult Nurse/RGN or Mental Health Nurse/RMN
- Up to date NMC registration
- Experienced in a managerial or supervisory capacity in a clinical setting within the elderly and dementia care home sector
- Confident leading, developing and motivating a team
- Demonstrate good working knowledge of CQC essential standards
