Deputy Supply Chain Manager

Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Supply Chain Manager to join our team. The Supply Chain Manager will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the Supply Chain process, including procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Supply Chain management and possess excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Duties:
- Develop and implement strategies to optimize the Supply Chain process and improve efficiency
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth coordination and execution of Supply Chain activities
- Monitor inventory levels and implement measures to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
- Conduct regular analysis of Supply Chain data to identify trends, forecast demand, and make informed decisions
- Manage supplier relationships and negotiate contracts to ensure favorable terms and conditions
- Oversee the transportation and logistics operations, ensuring timely delivery of goods
- Implement continuous improvement initiatives, such as Kaizen and Six Sigma, to drive operational excellence
- Conduct root cause analysis to identify and address Supply Chain issues
- Utilize data visualization tools such as Power BI and Tableau to analyze Supply Chain performance metrics
- Maintain accurate records of all Supply Chain activities

Skills:
- Strong knowledge of Supply Chain management principles and best practices
- Proficiency in using data analysis tools such as SQL, Power BI, or Tableau
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to conduct root cause analysis
- Knowledge of business processes related to procurement, logistics, inventory management, and distribution
- Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma methodologies for process improvement
- Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
