Deputy Ward Manager

Here at Merco Medical Staffing we are recruiting a Deputy Ward Manager for our client in Darlington.

With a focus on empowering service users towards recovery and independence, our multidisciplinary teams deliver comprehensive care across our 8 wards and nearby community house.
We are seeking a motivated and experienced Registered Mental Health/Learning Disability Nurse (RMN/RNLD) to join us as a Deputy Ward Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Ward Manager to ensure the delivery of excellent care and continuous development and improvement of the ward.
Key Responsibilities:
Demonstrate strong leadership skills and drive to develop team members.Mentor and assess student nurses through completion of the Student Nurse Assessor program.Uphold Mental Health Act (MHA), Mental Capacity Act (MCA), and Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) standards.Maintain accurate clinical records and ensure effective communication among staff.Deputize in the absence of the Ward Manager and oversee ward management responsibilities.
