Design Engineer

This role is working on behalf of a growing , forward thinking manufacturing company that offer innovative solutions to their clients.

The Job Role

• Draft/Develop plans for production in an engineering/fabrication environment.
• Support production and assist further developments from concept to manufacturing.
• Using AutoCAD/Auto inventor to create plans.
• Solid and surface modelling
• Liaising with the production team to ensure smooth production process.
• Work with other engineers and internal personnel to define new product specifications, develop new designs and final design solutions.
• Manage & coordinate project activities & support the existing product base.

Experience/Requirements

• Relevant manufacturing/engineering qualification, A Levels, ONC, City & Guilds level 3, BTec National Diploma Level 3, IVQ Technician Diploma, NVQ level 3.Must be able to read architectural engineering drawings
• Knowledge of AutoCAD/AutoInventor is essential
• Must have a good knowledge of a engineering/manufacturing environment.
• Good communication skills
• Be able to work as part of a team

The Package

• Working days Monday Thursday 8am till 4:30pm, Friday 8am till 1:00
• Salary starting at GBP25,000
• Permanent position
