SalaryDesign Engineer required. My client is an international leader in manufacturing polymer sealing solutions to many industries. They are now looking to expand their airframe and aero-engine seal design team with a Design Engineer. The ideal candidate will be experienced in Mechanical Design, have Catia experience, will be degree qualified and will be local to Swadlincote.
Design Engineer Position Overview
- Introduce a new product range whilst working with Project Management and Commercial Development teams to achieve this
- Design of airframe and engine seal solutions
- Produce costing and BOM's
- Planning of projects
- Creating manufacturing drawings, technical proposals and concepts
- Management of data configuration and ERP configurations
- Work to continuously improve product range
Design Engineer Position Requirements
- Preferably 3 years Design Engineering and Production/Manufacturing experience
- Experienced with using Catia
- Experienced with using Abacus
- Strong understanding of Engineering Fundamentals
- Qualified to degree level in an Engineering/Product Development discipline
- Based locally to Swadlincote
Design Engineer Position Remuneration
- Salary £32,000 - £35,000 DOE
- Hours: Monday - Thursday 7:45-8:15 to 16:30-17:00, Friday 7:45-8:15 to 12:30-13:00
- 32 days holiday including bank holidays
- Pension
