Design Engineer - Steel Bridges- Hybrid

They now require a talented and experienced Structural Engineer/Design Engineer to design carry out structural calculations for projects throughout Europe for the most trusted name in the industry.
As a senior member of a small team, working from the Office 2 or 3 days a week, this is an incredibly diverse and challenging role The minutia of the role includes;

• Structural calculations for a variety of steel bridge projects.
• Design customized modular steel bridge.
• Provide technical advice & support to Sales Managers, Project Managers and clients.
• Give on-site support for technical complex installations.
• Be the interface between clients, internal project management and the international Engineering team.
• Utilising the following software:

o Calculation software (PTC MathCAD)
o 3D-FEM software (RFEM)
o CAD software (AutoCAD, Inventor)
o MS-office applications (Teams, Outlook, Word, Excel)
o PLM software (PTC Windchill)
The CANDIDATE
The successful candidate will be a talented Structural Engineer with the following skills and experience;

• Experience in structural steel or bridges.
• Knowledge of relevant Eurocodes/design codes.
• Good academic background.
• Be familiar with the software packages.

It is essential that you have the desire to assume responsibility and help a well-established organisation grow.
Salary: Depending on Experience
