Design Research: Conduct thorough design research to stay abreast of current trends, emerging styles, and market demands. Create mood boards and trend presentations
Competitor Research: Analyse competitor products and designs to identify market gaps and opportunities. Stay informed about industry trends and benchmarks to contribute innovative ideas.
Sample Creation: Assist in the development of design samples, translating concepts into tangible creations. Collaborate with the design team to bring sketches and ideas to life through hands-on sample creation.
Sourcing Fabrics and Trims: Work with suppliers to source fabrics and trims. Ensure adherence to design specifications and quality standards during the sourcing process.
Pattern Cutting: Gain experience in pattern cutting techniques to bring precision and structure to designs. Collaborate with senior designers to create accurate patterns for production.
Garment Construction: Learn garment construction techniques, participating in the assembly of prototypes and final products. Collaborate with the production team to ensure designs are translated seamlessly into finished garments.
