Main Duties
- Responsible for the up-keep, management, and organisation of the Studio sample library and studio storage (fabric, paint, and hard samples), including the logging of samples allocated to each project.
- In charge of organising the procurement and returns of samples to suppliers either in person, post, or courier.
- Assisting the design team with project installs and furniture trials.
- Providing design assistance with paint samples (including colour matching), mood boards, furniture sourcing and tearsheets.
- Providing technical assistance to the design team with CAD drawings, SketchUp models, Photoshop requests when necessary
- Providing administrative support to the Studio team as necessary for projects including cataloguing current project samples, previous project archiving, and raising purchase orders/quotes
- Keeping the Studio & Project storage areas tidy including the filing of drawings, documents, and samples
- Preparing the meeting rooms for studio meetings, including ensuring any presentation materials are neatly laid out in conjunction with the team leader’s instructions, necessary stationary is on hand and assist with putting away all materials at the end of meetings.
- Client meeting support by packing/unpacking samples and printing of presentations.
- Setting up of supplier meetings and up-keep of supplier spreadsheet.
- General studio admin such as assisting new starter set up and post
- Maintaining image library
- Greeting clients and suppliers on arrival as necessary.
- Undertake errands in and out of the office, as required.

The intern will gain a deep understanding of working in an interior design studio as part of the design team. This opportunity has the potential to turn into a permanent role as a Design Assistant.
