Creative Support is a busy and dynamic national charity with a track record in providing high quality, person centred support services in over 70 Local Authorities.
We are seeking a motivated and engaging individual to support the development and implementation of initiatives and projects related to Environmental Sustainability, both organisation wide and in collaboration with individual services. This will include working closely with our Property Team as part of the development and mobilisation of new services. You will also support colleagues to understand and embed environmentally friendly practice.
The role will take a lead in the monitoring of our Carbon Emissions, working closely with a range of colleagues to develop the monitoring tools in place to ensure these represent accurate recording. You will support the completion of annual Carbon Reduction Reports, ensuring that the impact of key initiatives are identified.
The post holder will be a key part of tendering and business development, identifying how environmental commitments required by the contract can be translated into delivery of services.
You will be skilled in effective communication, maintaining records, and effectively coordinating resources. You will need to be well organised, hard working and flexible as this is a demanding role, working with multiple stakeholders/services to coordinate project deadlines nationally.
A genuine interest in and awareness of the wider social care sector is desirable. Continuous professional development will be provided but you must be able to work independently and flexibly to meet the goals and changing needs of the organisation.
You will be based at our friendly Stockport head office with the requirement for travel to services.
