A rare and exciting opportunity has arisen in South East Essex for a part time Band 3 administrator. We are looking for an enthusiastic and experienced individual to join our friendly Diabetes team, that will centrally provide administrative support using computer-based systems to the small team of clinicians.
This post supports the efficient running of all appointments, courses, referrals, and includes queries by phone or email. Essential skills required for the post include – excellent telephone manner, strong interpersonal skills, excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise tasks, effective time management and the ability to work calmly under pressure.
The post holder should have clerical experience and demonstrate a caring, sensitive approach to the work, with an ability to clearly communicate with colleagues, the general public and representatives from other hospitals and organisations.
We are looking for highly motivated, innovative, and flexible Administration Assistant to join our community adult diabetes service. The successful candidate will be an experienced Administration Assistant ideally with knowledge and experience of supporting healthcare teams.
The applicant must be well organised and able to work autonomously on their own initiative and be an excellent communicator.

Our EPUT NHS staff bank is an entity managed by the trust that hires clinical and non-clinical healthcare professionals to take on shifts at our trust hospitals and community settings. Here at EPUT we maintain our own bank of specialist staff to ensure that we are able offer safe and effective care at all times.
All our permanent staff are automatically enrolled onto the staff bank however this does not mean you have to work any additional shifts, but the option is there for you if you wish.

We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced administrative assistant to support the Adult Diabetes Service. The successful candidate will come with a wealth of clerical experience and be able to work autonomously and as part of the wider administration team supporting other members by covering administration roles during periods of leave and absence. Main duties will include supporting the team in making appointments, ordering supplies and equipment, dealing with enquiries, typing, minute taking and maintenance of relevant data bases.
