- Digital Capability Manager
- Hybrid Working - 3 days onsite in Manchester
- £550 per day (inside IR35)
Our client in Manchester is currently on the lookout for a Digital Capability Manger for a minimum 6 month period. They are looking for someone to join our team to help develop and deliver to our current and future plans. Your role will be to lead on how we review, simplify where possible and refresh our job descriptions and ensure that this is reflected effectively in the Career Pathways for roles
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- Reviewing the Job Role Catalogue against best practice; industry, government and professional standards; and the requirements from the organisation
- Proposing any changes that could be made with clear rationale and outlining the impact
- Defining implementation plan for any changes and highlighting all dependencies, including changes to Career Pathways
- Delivering an implementation plan
- Working closely with colleagues, especially within Capability, Heads of Role, Practice teams and HR
Skills and experience that will be beneficial for the role:
- Proven solid experience of working in a capability or learning and development role
- Understanding of job role architecture and knowing what makes an effective job description
- Experience of creating and making changes and improvements to job descriptions and aligning to professional frameworks
- Project Management – able to plan effectively, deal with multiple high- pressure priorities and report effectively on progress
- Communicating and influencing – able to present information in a range of ways; confident and clear in articulating complex and detailed content; can communicate to persuade and engage
- Relationship / Stakeholder Management – strong skills in forging positive relationships, gaining insights and feedback from a diverse and large range of stakeholders and managing stakeholders at all levels within a complex and/or large organisation
- Previous experience working within digital or a government department will be highly beneficial
