Talawa is looking for someone dynamic, determined and dedicated to take our performance-arts based digital and social content to the next level.
Reporting to the Marketing and Communications Manager and working closely with the Joint CEOs you will support in the communication and promotion of Talawa’s exciting 2024 season to existing and potential audiences across digital platforms, demonstrating measurable growth in profile and reach.

Main duties of the Digital Communications Co-ordinator:
- Proactively lead on social media engagement and audience building across our various platforms (including but not limited to Instagram, Facebook, Twitter/X, Threads, TikTok, LinkedIn and YouTube)
- Support creation and maintenance of website content with accuracy and attention to detail
- Ensure consistent showcasing of Talawa in the digital space in line within tone of voice and brand guidelines
- Manage Talawa’s content calendar and take ownership for creation and delivery of assets using a variety of mediums (text, image, and video)
- Attend and support key events such as Press Nights and Fundraisers/Donor events and delivery of marketing materials that may be required
- Keep the wider team updated on social media best practice.

Person Specification - Essential:
- A belief in Talawa’s mission, vision and values.
- Imperious written and oral communication skills, with strong attention to detail.
- Effective relationship management skills
- Demonstrable experience in successfully creating and managing social media channels
- in a professional setting
- Knowledge of email marketing software such as Dot Mailer or Mailchimp
- Experience of generating and updating website content using a Content Management
- System
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and CRM systems to create campaigns.
