About the opportunity: Can you create compelling social media and web content? Are you able to grab people’s attention by producing creative Digital Marketing collateral? Are you excited by telling compelling stories about the impact of businesses commercializing UCL’s world-leading research in technology, medicine, and science? We are UCL Business, the commercialisation company of UCL, helping UCL’s academics to commercialise their research and innovations to have societal impact. We’re looking for a Digital Marketing and Communications Assistant to join our busy Communications and Marketing team. This is a diverse role, supporting the delivery of UCLB’s Digital Marketing strategy. Your days will be varied, ranging from planning, and writing social posts and web content to graphics and video production, engaging our online audiences and promoting our busy programme of events. You will also work in collaboration with the rest of the team to help shape, write, and produce Digital Marketing collateral that can be distributed and shared across various media channels. The successful candidate will need to be creative and a digital native, have excellent communication skills, be able to manage multiple projects, demonstrate a solid work ethic and have the ability to work well in a small busy team. What you need to have: Qualification or proven experience in Digital Marketing and/or communications. Ability to work collaboratively. Experience of managing corporate social media channels and website management. Well-developed interpersonal skills. What we offer A competitive salary of £26,000 to £28,000 depending on experience and qualifications. In addition, the company operates PRP, generous holidays and pension schemes.
