Working within the IOE’s Communications team and reporting to the Web Content Manager, you will work closely on managing the IOE faculty website, intranet, and social media channels. Day to day, your role will involve responding and completing web requests from across the faculty to create and produce engaging and accessible content for IOE's audiences, including text, images, video and audio, in a timely and professional manner, as well as streamlining processes, contributing to the web migration project and assisting in the overall governance of IOE’s digital estate. You will have experience of using a website content management system (CMS) to input, structure and optimise communications content, including text, images and multimedia assets, and experience of using metadata to manage content and understanding of digital accessibility, information architecture, user journeys and SEO. Experience of managing and monitoring social media channels, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms and tools is desirable.
