As a Digital Content Officer, you will play an essential role in building awareness of MSI UK as an NHS-funded reproductive healthcare provider in the UK, and ensuring that our clients can find engaging, accessible and up-to-date information about our services online. You will also support the communication of our advocacy work, sharing content about MSI UK’s work to improve access to reproductive healthcare and advocate for abortion rights in the UK.
On a day-to-day basis, this will involve being responsible for social media content creation as part of our overarching digital marketing strategy, analysing social media performance and making recommendations for improvements, working as part of the Digital Marketing and Communications team on website content that provides essential information about our services, and ensuring that our online listings (on Google and the NHS website) are up-to-date and optimised to support people looking to access care.
You will be pro-choice, brimming with passion and dedicated to championing sexual and reproductive rights and empowering our clients to access the quality care they rightfully deserve.
To perform this role, it is essential that you have the following skills, experience and qualifications:
- At least two years’ experience working in digital/communications or marketing teams
- Strong written and verbal communications skills
- Knowledge and understanding of the issues affecting access to abortion in the UK
- Experience of supporting and implementing digital marketing and communication plans
