Vacancy: Digital Education Officer

A vacancy has arisen to join the RCPE Digital Education team and help develop our Digital Education programme in ways that engage and meet the needs of physicians and medical students, and ultimately, patients throughout the world.
The Digital Education Officer will provide administrative and editing support to help maintain and expand the amount and type of Digital Education we offer, reviewing content prior to publication, and enhancing the quality and accessibility of our Digital Education available on the Education Portal and RCPE’s podcast website .

You’ll need to be a self-starter with a positive attitude and a genuine interest in technology and Digital Education. You will be the main editor of our event talks and also undertake editing, quality assurance and production of additional video content, interactive content, podcasts and Education Portal materials. An excellent level of digital literacy will be essential to undertake these tasks, and to undertake administration of the Education Portal. If you don’t already have experience of all the software and systems we use, you won’t be fazed but will have the confidence and enthusiasm to learn.
Strong organisational skills are essential as you’ll need to keep track of multiple pieces of work, and you’ll need to pay attention to detail when undertaking a variety of administrative and editing-related tasks.
You must be a team player, but also able to work independently – with effective communication skills.
Remuneration Package
The salary for this role will be £27,654 per annum plus benefits. Additional benefits include:
- Pension: with employer contributions of 9%.
- Holidays: 23 days annual leave (with incremental increase over five years to 28 days) and 11 days public holiday/College close downs.
