Apprenticeship Overview:

As part of our commitment to nurturing talent, we are offering a comprehensive Marketing Apprenticeship with a primary focus on SEO. This opportunity is designed for individuals eager to develop their skills in Digital Marketing and gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced environment. 

Whilst the focus is on SEO, the role will also include the opportunity to gain experience across our different departments and ultimately support the individual to progress inline with their interests and skills.

Key Responsibilities:

SEO:

• Work alongside our Head of SEO to learn and apply strategies to improve website visibility and ranking on search engine result pages (SERPs).
• Conduct keyword research, competitor analysis, and SEO audits to inform marketing strategies.
• Write website content using informed SEO findings, focusing on long-form informative, user friendly text.
• Optimise website content, including meta titles, meta descriptions, page headers, and images to improve SERP rankings.
• Assist in monitoring and client reporting on SEO performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics, Google Search Console and Ahrefs.
• Work with our development team to identify and resolve technical SEO issues, such as crawl errors, broken links, and site speed optimisations.
• Perform competitor analysis to benchmark SEO performance and uncover new opportunities.
• Implement local SEO strategies to improve visibility in local search results.
• Analyse landing pages and basic UX principles to improve the overall website experience for a user.
• Learn how to use AI tools, like ChatGPT, for a variety of SEO improvements, from suggesting technical improvements, to competition benchmarking to generate engaging and relevant content.
  

Wider Marketing Experience:

• Gain exposure into PPC (Pay-Per-Click) advertising, including search, display, and social media advertising across multiple platforms.
• Work with our Email Marketing team, to execute targeted email marketing campaigns, while tracking and analysing performance metrics to continually refine and improve email marketing strategies.
• Support our internal marketing activities, such as email marketing, content marketing, social and campaign planning.
  

The training you will be getting

• Digital Marketer Apprenticeship Standard Level 3
  
• Functional Skills in maths and English if required
• You will receive full training and support from the Just IT apprenticeship team to increase your skills
• Your training will include gaining internationally recognised Level 3 qualification
