Digital Marketing Executive
Temporary role starting asap until 31st July 2024
Working 37hrs, this role will home based role with adhoc meetings on campus
Paying between £15.85 - £17.65 per hour, equates to £30,487 - £33,966 per annum dependent on experience

They are looking to recruit an experienced Digital Marketing Executive to join their Business & Development Unit which aims to create and implement a profitable commercial and international strategy for the Open University. This role sits within the B2B Marcomms team and covers a variety of marketing and communication activities to help the BDU to hit its business targets.
Key Responsibilities
- Work on some key website projects, e.g. user experience improvements, website analytics, SEO optimisation and new functionality, overall driving inbound marketing leads.
- Produce and review a variety of pieces of written content for internal and external audiences to ensure they are on brand and are optimised for that marketing channel and audience.
- Make content updates to the website via CMS, including creation and editing of webpages.
- Collate and adapt content for, build and send emails to our database using our CRM Pardot.
- Support on CRM activity such as lead uploads, building automation rules, building campaigns and forms on Pardot.
Experience and Skills
- Experience of Digital Marketing necessary - ideally within B2B environment
- An intermediate level skill in either CMS or CRM is necessary - we are happy to consider candidates with specialism in either field, with a view to building skill in the other area. Candidates with both are ideal.
- Excellent written and face-to-face communication skills: strong spelling and grammar and an understanding of different styles for different audiences and purposes..
- An understanding of different social media channels and their audiences.
- Proficient in using Microsoft Office & SEO knowledge desirable.
- Experience of website or email analytics desirable.
- Pardot / Salesforce /Drupal CMS experience desirable.
