Digital Marketing Manager (Temporary Maternity Cover)

Location: Preston, UK
Contract: Temporary (Maternity Cover) until May 2025
Salary: £35,000 per annum

We are seeking an experienced Digital Marketing Manager to join our client’s team in Preston on a temporary basis to cover maternity leave until May 2025. This is a fantastic opportunity to bring your expertise to a thriving company and make a significant impact on their marketing strategy.

Key Responsibilities: 

• To create and execute Digital Marketing strategies and plans
• To manage Digital Marketing channels including the website, SEO, PPC, paid social and email marketing
• To manage a team of Digital Marketing specialists
• Work with our PPC agency on campaign management and reporting, with a focus on web traffic and ROAS 
• Manage budgets across web, paid social and PPC
• Work closely with the Content Manager to deliver engaging assets across digital channels
• Support the success of marketing campaigns by hitting agreed targets and delivering on KPI’s.
• Ensure the Digital Marketing output is fully optimised through reporting and analysis to review activity and make recommendations if necessary
• Oversee the testing and optimisation of Digital Marketing channels to increase effectiveness

Qualifications:

• Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Digital Marketing Manager role with strong understanding of PPC, web, email and social media
• Excellent leadership skills and the ability to work as part of a team
• Knowledge of the latest Digital Marketing trends and technologies
• Experience using Google Analytics 4 and Meta Ads is essential
• Experience using analytics to report on digital campaigns and the ability to compile reports to make informed recommendations
• Strong analytical ability to evaluate the end-to-end customer experience across multiple digital channels and customer touch points 
• A flexible approach combined with great organisational skills and the ability to deal with multiples projects at any one-time, prioritising workloads to meet often challenging deadlines
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities and deadlines
• Target-focused with a strong commercial awareness and business acumen
• A pro-active, energetic and self-motivated ideas person who enjoys multi-tasking with excellent communication skills
