This role is aligned to the third pillar of this plan, helping HSBC deliver innovative investments and partnerships that can reduce the impact of climate change and supporting these to scale.

In this role you will be:

1. Creating and managing an internal network to coordinate work across the bank as it relates to Carbon Markets.
2. Supporting HSBC’s own offsetting procurement program. 
3. Working with frontline colleagues across the bank to identify opportunities, and manage risks, related to the Carbon Markets and our clients. This could include supporting client proposals and new product development
4. Developing and delivering material to upskill colleagues and clients as it relates to the Carbon Markets

To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:

1. Significant knowledge of carbon markets, both compliance and voluntary.
2. Experience of either advising companies in the voluntary carbon market, or as a buyer/seller in the voluntary carbon market
3. Global network across voluntary carbon market, including with Standard setting organisations
