Financial Director

Are you a highly effective communicator and team builder who enjoys a technical "hands on" approach ?
Within this upmarket independent design/architecture lighting business with turnover of £16 million, with superb show case offices based in Shoreditch, this hands on Financial Director , will supervise an accounts team of 2 people, but largely a "hands on" role. 

As Financial Director  you will oversee all financial aspects of the business and lead the Finance Team, to support the organisation in achieving its vision, mission, and strategic goals. You will be an integral member of the Management Team, designing, defining and driving financial strategy, planning and performance through the key responsibilitie including:

Project profitability, budget preparation, setting and monitoring and financial forecasting
Financial reporting accuracy, taking ultimate responsibility for VAT operations, preparation of quarterly VAT returns, and internal reporting such as management reporting including P&L, cashflow projections
Preparing and presenting financial and management accounts, reports and data together with finnacial analysis
Supporting the senior management team with regular cash flow reporting, project profitability and strategic input including identifying potential threats and opportunities, defining/compliance policies under statutory regulatory requirements

You are ACA/ ACCA / CIMA qualified , current Financial Controller or Director of similar size business, a peoples "team builder", who enjoys a "hands-on" technical role with a strong project costing profitabilty background.
You have a previous working knowledge of Netsuite ERP of similar ERP system
The role will be 3-4 days in the office
