We are currently seeking an experienced individual to join this team in the role of Director, Data and Analytics.
This is a commercially oriented role with a focus on leveraging data to drive business outcomes. In this role, you will be responsible for:
• Data Strategy and Vision:
Define and implement the data strategy for GPS, including for Gen AI.
Create and maintain a data-driven culture within the organization.
Align data initiatives with the overall business strategy and objectives.
• Portfolio Management and Innovation:
Create a portfolio of revenue, client experience or efficiency use cases, each providing at least $1,000,000 in revenue or cost reduction benefit.
Collaborate with the product organisation on data lead product innovations.
Continuously evaluate and optimize the Data and Analytics portfolio to maximize business impact.
• Expected Business Impact:
Drive revenue growth and cost reduction through data-driven initiatives and innovations.
Improve decision-making for the bank and its clients using Data and Analytics.
Enhance client experience and reduce friction in client journeys and processes.
Provide commercial insights to clients and the bank's management.
Create new value propositions leveraging Data and Analytics.
• Data Assets and Capabilities
Develop and maintain data assets and capabilities to support the data strategy.
Ensure data management policies are integrated into all initiative designs and adhered to.
Leverage data, analytics, machine learning and AI/Gen AI to drive revenue, lower costs and improve decision making.
• Managing Stakeholders and collaborating with Data units and Product teams:
GPS executive leadership team
Wholesale Data & Analytics (WDO), GPS Technology teams and GPS Operations
Cross Border Payments, Domestic and Emerging Payments, Liquidity, Cards, Billing, Client Servicing, and Client Product Onboarding Sub-Value Streams
