Job Description
- Leading the development and execution of strategic financial plans.
- Delivery of procurement strategies, overseeing procurement processes and driving efficiency.
- Ensuring the financial performance of the organisation aligns with established goals.
- Managing financial risks and ensuring compliance with financial regulations.
- Providing financial reports and interpreting financial information to managerial staff.
- Managing budgets and controlling expenditure.
- Collaborating with senior management to make strategic financial decisions.
- Maintaining strong relationships with external partners and stakeholders.
The Successful Applicant
A successful Director of Finance and Procurement should have:
- A professional certification such as ACCA, CIMA, CIPFA or ACA
- Previous PS experience
- Proven leadership skills with the ability to lead, coach and inspire a team.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A strong understanding of procurement processes and financial regulations.
