Director Of Finance & Operations

RM Recruit are working with an established Charity in the Warwickshire region to support in their recruitment on an Interim Director of Finance and Operations. This is a strategic role that benefits from having a stable and highly capable finance team that manages the day to day aspects of Finance. Whilst overseeing the team, the focus of this post will be on developing commercial strategy around estates, capital projects, risk management and mid to long term financial planning.

Via hands-on management and delegation, your remit will incorporate:

• Finance strategy and long-term planning
• IT Strategy and the move to cloud based systems across all corporate services
• Overall management of Human Resources team with key input to the organisational people and culture strategy
• Facilities management and taking the lead on a number of high value capital projects
• Setting of procurement strategy with a high focus on value for money

This role will have a duration of 12 months and will operate on a hybrid working model (35 hour week). Our client requires a fully qualified candidate (non-negotiable) but is not necessary seeking charity and/or Not for Profit sector experience. Whatever your background, you must possess the proven ability to interact at senior leadership and Board level, confidently support the CEO and act as a key and visible member of the senior leadership team.
