SalaryCharterhouse Lagos, Nigeria is seeking to appoint a Director of Music for August 2024.
Charter House is a new school opening in September 2024 to offer an international education for students 5 to 18 using the British National Curriculum and leading to iGCSE and A level qualifications. In September 2024 it will offer places for students Y1-Y4.
The Director of Music will be a member of the extended School Leadership and will be a dynamic and accomplished musician with a passion for teaching, a strong knowledge of Music education, and the ability to inspire and motivate students. The Director of Music plays a vital role in promoting musical excellence, organizing performances, and enriching the school community through various musical activities.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Music, Music Education or a related field
- Master's degree preferred
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent certification in music education
