SalaryReed Secure are working in alignment with a Law Enforcement organisation based in Preston. They are seeking am office-based DNA Input Assistant to join them initially for 5-months offering an hourly rate of £11.75 per hour, PAYE.
This is unique opportunity to gain an insight into how DNA is processed, and you play a crucial role in inputting and recording this vital information.
Responsibilities include:
- To monitor DNA samples received, carry out quality control checks
- To maintain accurate computerised records, relating to various com.puter systems.
- To advise on administrative procedures relating to DNA sampling.
- To liaise with internal and external Agencies/enquiries as appropriate.
- To carry out any other duties which are consistent with the nature, responsibilities, and grading of the post.
- To demonstrate a strong commitment to delivering high standards of service with an emphasis on Quality at all times.
Essential Criteria:
- Experience of working effectively as part of a team
- Experience of working in an office environment
- Experience of applying a problem-solving approach
- Experience of keeping accurate records
- Previous experience of utilising Microsoft Office applications
- Ability to work with a minimum of supervision.
