Our client are a regional developer based in Bristol and they are currently in the market for an experienced Document Controller to join the busy Technical team.
Description:
Your key responsibilities will include:
Establish and maintain an efficient document control system for the organisation
Manage the storage, retrieval, and timely distribution of documents, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
Ensure all documents are well-organised, updated, and easily accessible to authorised personnel.
Maintain a database of all documentation and ensure proper version control
Coordinate with internal teams to ensure the timely processing of documents.
Assist in the preparation of reports, presentations, and other documentation as required.
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with document control procedures.
Provide training and support to staff on document control processes and systems. Profile The ideal candidate will:
Be degree qualified in Business Administration, IT or a related field (or have extensive experience in its place).
Proven experience working as a Document Controller or in a similar role
Strong knowledge of document management systems and best practices.
Excellent organisational and time management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy in managing documents.
Proficiency in MS Office and document management software.Ability to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
