Document Controller - Manchester - Aconex
Are you a Document Controller , who is prepared to work site based and has experience of using Aconex?
We are currently recruiting for the role of Document Controller, on behalf of a Tier One contractor who are building a new PSR scheme in central Manchester and who are looking hire someone on a permanent basis.
Duties include:
- Quality Assurance for All Documentation – Ensuring all information is compliant with project naming conventions and document control protocols
- Registering received Information within ULS EDMS where required
- Revision and Status control of all project documentation Maintain and ensure integrity and accuracy of Electronic Documents
- Maintain and ensure integrity and accuracy of Document Registers
- Maintain and ensure integrity and accuracy of Electronic and Master Hardcopy (Where required) of documents
- Effectively manage the flow of Project Information and Maintain Document Distribution lists
- Monitor Workflow for Consultants / Design Team Documentation
- Ensure full auditability of Design Coordination process for Consultants Design Team
- Monitor Workflow for approval of Sub Contractor / Supplier Documentation
- Ensure full auditability of approval process for Sub Contractor / Supplier Documentation Manage and Maintain Project Directory within EDMS
- Generate Reports within EDMS for project as required
- Accurate Retrieval of information Coordination of Information for Operation and Maintenance Manuals and Project Handover, Both Electronic and Paper files where required
- Assist with other projects and duties as required
- Promote Process, Systems and Service.
- Provide Training & Guidance for Project Teams (Internal & External) for EDMS.
ADMINISTRATIVE DUTIES – To include but not limited to:
- Provide Secretarial and Administrative Support
- Preparation of Correspondence
- Opening, Recording and Circulation of incoming & outgoing Post as and when required
- Printing of Contracts and Other documentation as required
- Preparing and Processing UL Forms as and when required, ensuring that Formal forms are used, and Group branding requirements are complied with
- Ordering Stationary and General Office SuppliesMonthly reports as required
- Excellent communication skills and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with project management
- Proficient typing and editing skills Data organisation skills
- Attention to detail
- Time management skills
- A working knowledge of major Common Data Environments and Information Management Systems
- Proven work experience as a Document Controller
