SalaryKenna Recruitment has a new fantastic opportunity for a Document Controller to join one of the UKs largest Main Contractors in their stunning Head Office in Colchester Essex. This is a great opportunity for someone with Document Control experience looking to step up and work in a small team.
Overview:
The Document Controller will be the main administrator for the coordination of all Consultants and Contractors drawings/schedules using the Project Document Control System. This role is site based working with the project teams on one of London’s most exciting residential developments. The role with provide support to the project team and you will be assisting with departmental duties.
This is an exciting and demanding role that provides an opportunity for a self-motivated and well organised team player to make a significant impact in a crucial part of the business

Key Responsibilities:
- Uploading of information.
- Audit quality check of all submittals
- Re-assign submittals
- Publish all submittals
- Managing our EDMS protocols, lists, and libraries.
- Arranging access for contractors and external users
- Assist Technical & Commercial departments with collation of tender packages.
- To keep effective and efficient archiving of all electronic and hard copy documentation.
- Maintain document registers and ensure these are up-to-date
- To ensure document flow is carried out by all departments in a timely manner
- To be or become efficient in the use of noted electronic document control systems
