Job Title: Domestic Abuse Outreach Worker
Location: Birmingham
Salary: £24,000 per annum

Key Responsibilities
- To produce and regularly review Individual Support Plans (ISP) for each service user.
- To conduct key work sessions on a regular basis and keeping casework records up to date.
- To develop risk management plans to address the risk of harm to survivors of domestic violence and other forms of violence and abuse, and to ensure plans are in place for every client.
- To recognise women and children's individual needs and refer and work in partnership with other agencies and advocate for survivors to ensure their needs are met to specialist agencies where necessary.
- To ensure the primary needs of residents are met. This includes medical, financial, housing, legal and education rights.
- To ensure that any issues in relation to safeguarding children or vulnerable adults are brought to the immediate attention of the Services Manager.
- To provide a safe, supportive and welcoming environment to women and their children
- To recognise, respect and address the needs of service-users who face barriers when seeking help to access the service, from South Asian and other BME communities.
- To take referrals for both refuge accommodations and in the community for outreach support
- To welcome new residents, explain and arrange for them to sign occupancy agreements in the refuge and support agreements.
Required Experience:
- Able to speak 1 of the southern Asian languages
- Driver and access to own vehicle
- Experience within a similar role
