TimePlan Education are working with a Secondary School in Ealing who are looking to secure a long term Cover Supervisor with a Drama Specialism to start asap on an ongoing assignment.
The role of a Cover Supervisor
- Supervising the cover work set by the School - All planning has already been completed for the lessons.
- Ensuring the children have the required resources and knowledge to complete the work set by the teacher.
- Managing the behaviour of pupils during the lesson to ensure all work is completed to a high standard.
- Dealing with any immediate problems or emergencies
- Collecting completed work after lesson and returning it to the appropriate teacher/department.
What experience do you need to apply for the Cover Supervisor position:
- Experience of working within a school setting (ideally Secondary)
- Bachelors Degree/Equivalent in Drama
- An up-to-date DBS, ideally registered with the update service
- Two teaching related references from last two employer
