4Site are looking for a Site Manager with a Drylining background, to join a sub-contractor that specialises in commercial fitout projects for top main contracters in London. The initial £4m fitout project will be based in Green Park, and the drylining package is valued at £800k. HQ is Liverpool Street.
Key Responsibilities:
- Installation: Manage the installation of plasterboard, suspended ceilings, and small block walls, maintaining high-quality standards.
- Labour Control: Effectively control and manage on-site labor, ensuring productivity and compliance with safety regulations.
- Risk Assessment and Method Statements (RAMS): Develop and implement RAMS to ensure a safe working environment, in line with industry standards.
- Client and Contractor Meetings: Conduct weekly meetings with clients and main contractors to provide project updates and address any concerns or queries.
- Drawing Interpretation: Ability to read drawings accurately and efficiently process any required amendments during the project lifecycle.
- Material and Plant Management: Responsible for the ordering of materials and equipment, including but not limited to, plant machinery such as cherry pickers.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in using software tools such as Word, Adobe, and Excel for documentation and project management purposes.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in a similar role within the construction or fit-out industry
- Strong project management and organisational skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Adept at reading and interpreting construction drawings
- Proficient in Word, Adobe, and Excel
- Familiarity with health and safety regulations
