About Our Client

Bradford is setting up a new Children and Families Trust. The Trust is commissioned by Bradford Council to deliver a wide range of services for children, families and young people on their behalf. The Trust is accountable for determining how outcomes of these services are achieved and for the day-to-day running of commissioned children's services.
This is an important opportunity to renew our approach to delivering the support that Bradford's children, young people and families in need, by renewing services and creating a new organisation. They are bringing the mindset, dynamism and energy of a start-up together with the national expertise and determination of the Trust's Board, senior leadership and our colleagues' practical experiences of providing children's services in Bradford.

Job Description

As the Early Careers & Campaigns Manager, you will play a pivotal role in developing and implementing strategies to attract, engage, and retain early career talent. You will work closely with our Senior Talent Acquisition Manager to develop recruitment campaigns and initiatives to build our pipeline of talented individuals who are passionate about our mission.
The responsibilities will consist of, but not be limited to the following:

  • Develop and execute comprehensive strategies to attract and recruit early career talent, including recent graduates, apprentices and entry-level professionals.
  • Design and implement recruitment campaigns/initiatives targeting appropriate talent pools (Universities, Colleges)
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to identify talent needs and develop effective recruitment plans.
  • Foster relationships with educational institutions, student organisations, and industry networks to enhance our organisation's visibility and access to early career talent.
  • Utilise innovative sourcing methods, such as online platforms, job boards, and social media, to reach and engage with diverse early career candidates.
  • Coordinate and conduct interviews, assessments, and evaluations to identify the best-fit candidates for our organisation.
  • Ensure a positive and inclusive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to develop onboarding and development programs for early career hires.
  • Monitor and analyse recruitment metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in early career talent acquisition.

The Successful Applicant

  • CIPD Level 5 preferred.
  • Proven experience in talent acquisition, particularly in Early Careers recruitment.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment strategies, techniques, and best practices.
  • Can demonstrate knowledge of the Apprenticeship Levy
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain relationships with educational institutions, student organisations, and industry networks.
  • Familiarity with online recruitment platforms, job boards, and social media channels.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to leverage data and metrics for decision-making.
  • Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in talent acquisition.
  • Passion for engaging with early career talent and fostering their growth and development

What's on Offer

  • Basic Salary up to £40,000

  • 25 days annual leave (plus bank holidays) rising to 32 days annual leave with length of service

- 37 hours per week Monday - Friday
