Easybuild Systems Accountant

Our team is looking for a Systems Accountant with a knack for EasyBuild and a sense of humor to match our love for all things concrete and dirt.

Position Overview: We need a Systems Accountant who can balance the books while balancing on one leg (just kidding, but flexibility is key!). If EasyBuild is your middle name and you can crack a joke while crunching numbers, you might just be the one for us. You’ll be the go-to person for all things financial system-related, making sure our reports are as solid as our foundations.

Key Responsibilities:

• System Management:

  • Keep EasyBuild running smoother than a freshly paved road.
  • Install updates, patches, and enhancements with the grace of a synchronized swimmer.
  • Troubleshoot system issues faster than you can say "underground superhighway."

• Financial Reporting and Analysis:

  • Deliver financial reports that would make any accountant swoon.
  • Perform system audits so thorough, Sherlock Holmes would be proud.
  • Provide financial analysis that’s more revealing than a tabloid headline.

• Process Improvement:

  • Spot process improvements like a hawk spots its prey.
  • Develop best practices that make our financial processes shine brighter than a new tunnel light.
  • Train our staff so well, they’ll think you’ve got a degree in pedagogy (or stand-up comedy).

• Project Support:

  • Collaborate with project managers and engineers like a pro in a three-legged race.
  • Provide financial insights that make engineers exclaim, "Eureka!"
  • Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and planning with the foresight of a financial Nostradamus.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or "Being Awesome with Numbers."
• Professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or "Accountant of the Year" award).
• Extensive experience with EasyBuild - the easier, the better.
• Strong understanding of the construction industry, civil engineering, and tunneling (bonus points if you’ve played with Legos).
• Proven track record of managing financial systems and impressing your colleagues.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills (especially joke-telling).
• Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams without stepping on toes.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills (and maybe a color-coded spreadsheet or two).
