Our Bedford based client, a thriving food retailer dedicated to providing high-quality products and exceptional service to their customers, is seeking an ECommerce and Marketing Coordinator to join their team on a permanent basis.
In this position, you'll play a pivotal role in driving online sales and enhancing brand visibility. You'll work closely with their Business Development Manager to streamline online business operations and implement effective marketing strategies.
Responsibilities
ECommerce:
- Manage online orders and ensure stock availability for all products.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating with consumers.
- Coordinate with couriers and generate shipping labels for Shopify and courier deliveries.
- Keep the website updated with product and promotional information.
- Collaborate with the sales team to set product pricing and promotional plans.
- Develop and maintain weekly/monthly reports and KPIs.
- Stay updated on Shopify and Etsy SEO techniques to improve search results.
- Research and implement screen recording and replay apps for Shopify.
- Complete Shopify checkout online course for better customer service.
Marketing Support:
- Manage and update the online product catalogue, ensuring accurate product listings.
- Enhance product listings with multiple images and video content.
- Support all eCommerce activities, including company websites.
- Improve digital presence through SEO strategies.
- Drive web traffic and generate leads through promotional activities.
- Develop and execute social media campaigns across multiple platforms.
- Create visually appealing content for social media, including graphics, videos, and GIFs.
- Assist with administrative tasks and Marketing strategy execution.
- Artwork using Adobe Creative Suite, adhering to brand guidelines.
Requirements
- Ideally hold a degree in marketing, business, or a related field.
- Proven experience in e-commerce management and digital marketing, preferably in the food retail industry.
- Strong understanding of e-commerce platforms Shopify and Etsy, and proficiency in website analytics tools such as SEO.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to create compelling content and engage with customers across various channels.
- Creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a results-driven mindset and a passion for driving business growth.
- Ability to multitask and prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills, with a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
