Ecommerce Consultant - Data Driven (Contract)

Our customer requires an Ecommerce consultant to manage the existing Ecommerce projects, liaising between internal teams and third party suppliers to ensure prompt delivery of their projects.

The are looking for an individual who understand data and how to use it. Strong understanding of Ecommerce and able to advise and connect the required teams.

You must be proactive, Strong communicator and able to control the process.

Our client's primary business goal is operating as a publishing company, with our secondary focus on managing an Ecommerce subscription process.

You may come from an agency or have scaled your own e-commerce business or maybe an in house technical team player looking for a new challenge.

Description

The successful Ecommerce Consultant - Data Driven (Contract), will be responsible for:

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the planning and implementation of web development projects
• Connect, oversee and report back on progress of internal and external parties
• Define project scope, goals and deliverable that support business goals in collaboration with the relevant internal team and senior management
• Effectively communicate project expectations to team members and stakeholders in a timely and clear fashion
• Delegate tasks and responsibilities to the relevant team members if required
• Build, develop, and grow the relationship with our external web development team vital to the success of the project
• Track project milestones and deliverable
• Collaborate with our external IT team for complex technical issues that require additional expertise
• Perform basic system administration tasks as required

Profile

The successful Ecommerce Consultant - Data Driven (Contract), will have:

Must Haves

• 3 years + experience within an e-commerce role either agency side or client side
• Proven ability to deliver and act autonomously
• Commercial online business experience within a technical role
• Confident knowledge of HTML, CSS, and website content management systems such as Wordpress
• Hands on experience (DNS record, dev planning and delivery, working with developers and an in-depth understanding of the web development lifecycle)
• Ability to think critically and problem-solve
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Basic knowledge of web best practice and accessibility
• Good organisational and communication skills
• Basic knowledge of Google Analytics

Job Offer

The successful Ecommerce Consultant - Data Driven (Contract) will have on offer an INSIDE IR35 contract.

You will be required to be on site 3 days p/week (Tues, Wed, Thurs) - Work From Home (Mon, Fri) - Entire Month of September is WFH due to renovations.
