An opportunity has arisen for an Academic Assistant to join a leading organisation based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time, Temporary Position - with an immediate start.
Working hours: Monday to Friday (excluding Wednesday's): 10am - 5pm.
With an hourly rate of GBP18 per hour.
Job Purpose:You will be working with an undergraduate student with a physical disability, supporting and aiding with their work. This position is ideal for a person wishing to obtain a graduate job where they can remain in a familiar, academic environment, engaging with interesting subject areas.
Essential Criteria:• IT Proficient with the use of IT packages such as Microsoft Office.• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.• Good organisational and numeracy skills.• Ability to remain professional and adhere to confidentiality.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:• Assisting the student in all areas of studies.• Taking notes at lectures/tutorials.• Transcribing study notes.• Aiding with research.• Writing up assignments.
